How Can Mild Irritation In Throat And Runny Nose Along With Thick Phlegm And Mild Cough Be Managed?

Question: Hi Doctor, I have mild irritation in throat and runny nose since yesterday, today runny nose has improved. now I have thick phlegm/sputum with yellow/grey in color with mild cough. pls advice

Hi,

From your description I think it will recover in 5-7 days.
If it does not recover, then go for antibiotics like Amoxiclav for 3- days.

Steam inhalation/warm saline gargles will help.
Take paracetamol for fever, if any.

Otherwise no specific medicines are indicated for now.

may I take azee 500 in place of Amoxiclav 625 with paracetamol for fever

and feeling mild cold, body ache and mild fever also
