How Can Muscle Fatigue, Occasional Cramping In My Arms And Legs And Intermittent Dizziness Be Treated?

different possible causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Muscle fatigue and cramping, dizziness can be due to different possible causes.
The most common causes include:
(1) dehydration or inadequate fluid intake, can cause changes to the muscles and also contribute to dizziness as well
(2)side effect of medication- the side effect profile of any medications that you re using should be assessed
(3)abnormal levels of electrolytes particularly calcium, potassium, magnesium or sodium
(4)problems with some of the hormones such s cortisol or thyroid hormone can also cause these symptoms
(5)myositis which is inflammation of the muscles can also cause muscle symptoms. Myositis, as a systemic illness, can cause dizziness.
Causes include infection and autoimmune conditions such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis
(6)anemia
If the symptoms continue then it would be best to be seen. The assessment would involve generalized physical examination then focused examination of the muscles and nerves- power/strength of the muscles, reflexes.
Blood tests such as electrolyte and hormone levels would be helpful in finding the cause eg calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium levels, thyroid hormone, cortisol. Complete blood count and ESR (this looks for inflammation in the body)
Treatment would depend on the cause found, in most persons, the cause is not serious and is easily treated.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions.
Regards
