How Can Nasal Congestion, Cough And Sneezing In A Child Be Treated?
Question: Dear doctor,
My son who is 2 months 10 days old is suffering from blocked nose, cough and sneezing issue since yesterday. He has been advised Wikoryl drops 0.6 ml thrice a day and Asthakind- P drops 0.6ml thrice a day.
Needed to check if these are safe for an infant or u suggest some other medicine. Also can other medicines like collicaid, bevon and vitinova be given along with these two medicines.

Other medicines like colicaid, vitanova and bevon drops can be given to child with wikoryl or asthakind-p drops but there should be a gap of 20 minutes between them.

thank you so much for your revert doctor. needed to know if 0.6 ml thrice a day is safe. also my son who is a poor sleeper has been sleeping after 1st dose which I gave him at 12 noon today. is it OK. Shall I reduce the dose to twice a day.

If no improvement in 24 hours then examination by Pediatrician should be done.
