Detailed Answer:

Hello!

I passed carefully through your question and would recommend adding a calcium channel blocker (amlodipine or lercanidipine, etc.)to your actual therapy, to help improve the engorged blood vessels.

I would also recommend performing inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR) and Rheumatoid factor levels to investigate arthritis, which could mimic this clinical situation.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank-you very much for your detailed answer. I thought of having my Dr. order inflammation tests but did not think of calcium channel blockers. Interesting to say the lest. Once again thank-you.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I would recommend discussing with your doctor on the above issues.

You should know that calcium channel blocker can help vessel dilation.

I would also recommend checking vitamin D plasma levels for any possible vitamin D deficiency.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
