Get evaluated by a neurologist as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The MRI is showing disc abnormalities at cervical spine level with involvement of cord too.
Cervical cord and nerve root compression is causing the symptoms in hand and probably legs.
You should get him examined by a neurologist and take medications accordingly.
Physiotherapy plays a vital role.
Drugs like pregabalin, gabapentin or amitriptyline can be taken.
Vitamin B 12 levels can be tested too.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Hi Sir,
Thanks for your valuable response. I have taken my father to Neurologist and also shared the MRI scan report. Neurologist has suggest to go for operation , after we have mentioned to him if we can try curing this with medicines and physiotherapy, he has agreed to give a try with medicines(attaching his prescription). I did not find the Neurologist consultation satisfactory. I would like to have your second opinion on this .
This time I am attaching MRI Scan report as well as the film and the prescription given by local Neurologist . Can you please advice , if this problem is something can be cured by physiotherapy/medicine or we need to go for surgery for sure . Symptoms wise , my father is not having sever pain except for finger Numbness and medium back pain.
Also doctor has not prescribed any physiotherapy, please suggest if we can directly contact any physiotherapist for this.

Brief Answer:
Continue treatment and physiotherapy as advised. Surgery if not improving
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You can start with prescribed medications.
The dose of pregabalin cab be increased according to response.
The mri images shows multiple cervical disc prolapse with cord compression and canal stenosis.
There are high chances that physiotherapy and medications will not be able to benefit completely.
Surgery may be required.
Physiotherapy can be done under supervision of a physiotherapy.

Hello Sir,
Can you please help me with some details about do’s and don’ts for my father.
Doctor has suggested to wear neck color, when he should be wearing it.
He prefers to go for briskly walking for 30 to 40 mins every day morning, can he continue doing that.
Should he be using a pillow while sleep ? Is there a specific bed type that he should be resting on ?
And any thing that he is not supposed to do due to his present condition like driving bike, lifting weights etc.
Thanks
