Brief Answer:
Lortab is in the oblong shape and always have a marking on it.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Lortab is the brand name for combination of drugs Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. It is used to treat moderate to severe pain.

Lortab is mostly in the oblong shape and always have marking (imprint) on it. In the US all approved over the counter (OTC) and prescription medications are required to have a marking (imprint) on the pill by FDA to enable pill identification. Also, some dietary supplements and vitamins may not have marking on a pill.

If a pill does not have a marking on it, it is highly likely not genuine or not approved in the US.

I hope the above information will be helpful for you. Please, feel free to ask me if there is anything else you need to know.

Thank you,
Malik Amonov MD
