How Can Orthodontic Relapse After Removal Of Braces Be Fixed?
Question: I had had braces when I was in my teens, recently the gaps have come back in my teeth. Also, I have had a root canal done on one of my lower molars. Can this gaps be reduced? If so, should I have braces again? and if so, how long will the treatment take? Will the root canal impact any treatment?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..
Hi..
Relapse of gaps after removal of braces can be due to insufficient time of wearing braces or removing the retainers early..
Also the root canal treatment will not cause generalised gaping of teeth..
So first of all please tell that is the gap present only in between front teeth or is it in all teeth?
After removal of braces, the gaps started occurring after how long?
If possible can you upload the pictures of your teeth?
Please revert back..
Regards..

The gaps are only in the front teeth and minor between the crown (over the root canal)
After removal of the braces the gaps occurred in about 6 months to 1 year.

Brief Answer:
Filling or capping can help..
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
The gaps are appearing minor..
It can be filled with properly contoured tooth coloured resin based fillings or capping of teeth.
So if there is no other bite related problem ruled out by your dentist then you can get the gaps filled without braces..
Hope this helps..
