Brief Answer:
different treatment options

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Treatment of the spur involves the following-(1)rest as much as possible to avoid irritation of the area and modifying any activities. Rest or reducing any activity that worsens the pain , is very very important

(2) there are specific strengthening and stretching exercises for a spur. Images and directions of these can be found online and should be done at different points throughout the day

(3)icing the affected area. This can be done as an ice massage, ice bath or ice pack. Can be done after doing the exercises

(4)Pain medication such as naproxen or ibuprofen or cataflam to help ease the discomfort

(5)Splints such as a night splint may also be helpful to prevent certain positions during sleep that may cause a problem

Modification of the shoes, particularly at the heel or wearing an insert, may also be useful as well

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
