How Can Severe Leg Cramps Be Treated?

further necessary information
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
Thanks for contacting the Homeopathy section of AYUS(H) with your health concern and after reviewing your case history I'm of the following opinion:
1. As you are under regular supervision of your doctor thus he must have given due consideration in taking up your case and suggesting the medicine(s) and under no circumstances, you should change-substitute or STOP the medicine without first asking your health care provider. [do take a second opinion or Cardiologist suggestion]
2. are there any risk factors associated with high blood pressure: i.e. smoking/ alcohol/ salt intake, high blood sugar/abnormal cholesterol/overweight/ sedentary lifestyle?
3. Any associated disease present in you and any family history of high blood pressure in the family?
PS. any baseline investigations like Kidney function test, chest X- ray, Electrocardiogram done
4.
i. Avoid salt and salt-rich diet like: chutney, sauce, pickles, popcorn, salty biscuits, papad, cheese, wafers, salted biscuits, salted peanuts/cashew nuts, salted buttermilk.
ii. Low-fat diet: avoid saturated oils, deep fried foods, and unskimmed milk.
iii. Increase fiber intake i.e. leafy vegetables, pulses and legumes, use skimmed or double toned low-fat milk.
iv. as you are taking losartan thus AVOID potassium rich foods like grapes, mousambi, papaya, tomato, cheese, potato, fruit juices, coconut water, banana, [list is not exhaustive]
5. You may ask for prescription medicine(s) like: Natrum Mur, Rauwolfia, Belladonna, Nux Vomica, Glonoine which are usually Advised in cases of high blood pressure but taking into account your age and medicine it will be wise to see a qualified homeopath near your hometown for proper dosage and management.
