How Can Tendonitis Of The Elbow Be Treated?

default
Posted on Fri, 9 Jun 2017
Question: Hi, I have been dealing with an apparent case of tennis elbow for the last 5 months. I have not done anything of a physical nature in 4 months and have still feel no relief. I have gotten 4 different Mri's on my elbow shoulder and neck and they all came back clean. I went for Emg and nerve test also negative for nerve entrapment. My wrist is in constant pain can't lift anything. My elbow also pops but I think it may be related to the triceps muscle is this possible. I have gotten 2 rounds of prp little effect.. I got the injury from weight lifting bicep curls.

Brief Answer:
Needs Physiotherapy, Vitamin D analysis

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for the query,

I would advise you to consult a Physiotherapist from a good center. Most importantly, avoid squeezing wet clothes, cooking food, etc. These activities areas are known to create more strains/tears so do avoid them.

Please do get tested for Vitamin D levels also because it can have a varied presentation in patients.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow-up queries.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
