Why are you taking dexamethasone?
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and the medicines. Be re-assured that it usually takes 7-10 days of antibiotics to lower the fever. Once the fever is gone, you need to continue antibiotics for two more days. After discontinuing antibiotics (usually at 10th day), it takes many more days to restore digestion and weakness. To restore digestion, you may take Amruth tablets by sri sri Tattva after the antibiotic course is over.
I usually prescribe cefixime or cefalexin for typhoid. You may add cefixime 200 mg to your regime. I didn't understand the reason for taking torex, dexamethasone and mahazin M in typhoid. Dexamethasone is a steroid and can make infection worse. Drink lots of clean drinking water. You may discuss the above suggestions with your doctor.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

still I have lots of tablets now m confused
You can continue antibiotics
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
So many tablets are not needed in typhoid unless there are complications. What all symptoms do you have?
You should continue with one or two antibiotics until fever is relieved. Drink lots of "clean drinking" water. the cook in your house should cook only after washing hands properly (to avoid pread of typhoid).
Paracetamol maybe taken when fever is more than 102f.
Torex is given for cold and cough. Mahazin M are taken to avoid recurrent bouts of asthma. Do you have asthma? Dexamethasone is a steroid that is given in severe asthma but it can make infections worse, so it should be used carefully.
