How Do I Get Rid Of Scalp Psoriasis?
Question: I have scalp psoriasis. How to get rid off it?
Brief Answer:
Regarding scalp psoriasis
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I suggest you use a coal tar and salicylic acid based shampoo e.g Protar or Salytar lotion. Use it every alternate day. Lather it well on to wet scalp and allow it to act for 7-10minutes before rinsing it off. In addition, I suggest you use a clobetasol propionate 0.05% and salicylic acid 3-6% based lotion (Topical lotion), on scalp skin, twice daily for 2-4 weeks. Continue with the medicated shampoo after that. These are prescription medications and I advise you to kindly talk to your local practitioner for a prescription of the same.
Regards

hi
I suggest you to use a calcipotriol and clobetasol propionate lotion (Calpsor lotion) on scalp, twice daily. It is a prescription meducation. You may also take a tablet of cetrizine for symptomatic relief from itching. Shampoo is an important part of therapy for psoriasis. I suggest you to use Kertyol PSO shampoo. It helps scaling as well as soothes scalp irritation.
