How Do I Know If I Have Lichen Sclerosus Et Atrophicus And How Is It Treated?
Question: same sex partner for 6 years had yeast / fungal Infections since I was a child especially in hot weather . just looking for a second opinion does this look fungal yeast or like lichen planus or lichen sclerosis or anything different
Brief Answer:
Looks like lichen sclerosus et atrophicus
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your complaints and reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be lichen sclerosus et atrophicus.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply potent topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream on the affected area twice daily for 2 weeks.
Topical steroids are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
