Okay., i am in postpartum delivery in one year I want diet chart for healthy weight loss, am also the lactation mother
Brief Answer:
Weight loss is not recommended during lactation
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Weight loss is not recommended during lactation. During lactation you should take enough food to have good and nutritious milk supply for your baby. I hope you have added solid foods for your baby.
The weight gain during lactation is due to the hormones needed to produce milk. Once you wean the baby to cow's milk, your lactation hormones will go down and weight will resume almost to before pregnancy levels. So it is a natural phenomenon and interference in the form of low diet is not recommended.
You may ask for diet chart for weight loss after this process is complete.
Have a happy and healthy lactation.

Dr. Vaishalee
