How Do Sutures Dissolve?
Question: Hello, I had an arm lift surgery 6 weeks ago with dissolvable stiches. What can I do to help my body dissolve these stiches which are very uncomfortable.
Brief Answer:
Explained below
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have read your query,
Usually dissolvable sutures are below skin and are not visible or irritable.
If your stitches are poking out of skin then you should consult your doctor for proper treatment.
You can send your clinical photo of sutured area so that I can help you better.
For sutures which are inside body nothing is advised for early absorption.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care
