How Do You Properly Do Heel Stretches For Heel Pain?

Question: How do you properly do heel stretchers etc. for heel pain. Only recently do I experience this sometime during the night of morning, or not at all. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
See the description below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic surgeon.
Heel pain is a chronic condition and heel stretch has a very limited role in its treatment .
Heel stretch for heel pain is done in complete plantar flexion( Keeping the toes pointed downstairs). With one hand twist the heel inwards and foot outwards and repeat it with hands in reverse position( Heel outwards and foot inwards.) Do it 10 times morning and evening , very gently.
Thanks for the question. Please feel free to ask any other question.

Hello Dr. Goel,
Thank you for the help. I did apply the treatment you recommended. It did help quite a bit. Should I continue even if I do not have heal pain or just when the symptoms arise?
Thank you
