How Does Tazzle Help In Treatment Of Enlarged Prostate?

Question: I am suffering from enlarged prostate problem and under treatment for last 3 years. This resulted in problem of erection and delayed discharge. Doctor has given me Tazzle 10 mg. I tried it today but there was no erection and sex desire. What is purpose of this medicine. What to do now?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been taking medications for enlarged prostate since last three years.and facing problem of Erectile Dysfunction since recent times .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) What are the medications that you are taking for enlarged prostate.
2) Do you have any associated organic disease like Diabetes,High B.P. or cardiac problem ?

In majority of the patents with lower urinary tract symptoms due to enlarged prostate have Erection problem .It is mainly due to diminished blood flow to erectile tissue secondary to generalised atherosclerosis which is very common at this age.

Tadalafil is drug prescribed to get erection However single dose of Tadalafil(Tassel 10mg) may not show desired result .You need it to have trial of the drug at least for one week to get the results.

.You may try taking Cialis on daily basis irrespective of your anticipated sexual activity.Please consult your Urologist for further help.

I am diabatic patient for last 15 years and taking insuline 16, 14 unit daily.
For prostat I was taking following medicines
Zeroprost
Androzyme
Dutas
Now I am taking D-ventiz 50. My BP remains 140/80
I am not taking any medicine for BP
What is side effect of Tazzle 10 mg, it caused lot of gastric problem. Is it safe to take Tazzle 10 in future on sos basis 1 hour before intercourse?

Your problem of Erectile Dysfunction and loss of sexual desire is due to side effect of Dutasteride (Dutas ) which you have taking since a long time
..
Please discuss the issue with your Urologist and stop taking it (Dutas ) Your ED and sex desire will come back to normal within a month after you stop taking it.

I would suggest you to take Cialis on daily basis .It has minimal side effects and will take care of Erection problem and your enlarged prostate too.

I have stopped taking Dutas for last two months, but still problem of erectile dysfunction and lost of sexual desire exists. I am taking Silodal D 8 for last two months. Is this problem due to Silodal D 8? Is it safe to take Tazzle for this problem? I think that I had lot of gastric problem due to Tazzle .

Thanks for follow up.
If you are not comfortable with Tazzle you have to take Cialis(Tadalafil) on daily basis .It is effective for BEP and ED as well.with minimum side effects.

As regards your doubt your Ed to be due to Silodal D8 .It has side effects of painful ejaculation and retrograde ejaculation but not known cause ED.
