Question: hi i just had a question after taking plan b , does
it really leave you system or will it always give me side effects

Hello,

I can assure you that Levonorgestrel (The active medicine in Plan-B) will be eliminated from your body completely within 3 to 5 days.

The elimination half life for this drug is 24 hours +/- 5 hours, that means by 24 hours, half the medicine you took would be removed from your body and similarly, it keeps on getting removed and will be totally removed from the body in 3 to 5 days after a single dose of plan-B.

The side effects will subside in 2 to 3 days.
