Brief Answer:
I-pill within 72 hours is very very effective.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there, welcome to HCM,

I-pill (Levonorgestrol 1.5 mg) taken within 72 hours ( 3 days) of unprotected intercourse is 99% effective in avoiding pregnancy. Its efficacy decreases after 3 days and if used after 3 days to 5 days after unprotected intercourse is only 87% effective.
This dose is very effective, but if weight of the women is more than 80 kilograms the efficacy decreases and a additional dose may be required. No there are no home remedies for stopping pregnancy which are effective.
There is a newer I-pill, called ulipristal acetate 30 mg which can also be considered and it is 98% effective for upto 120 hours (5 days).

Hope this helps.
Regards.
