Posted on Mon, 1 Jul 2024
Question: I am going to be 30 yrs old this year. I struggle with completing tasks without getting overwhelmed. I can never stay at a job for over a year. I always quit and find something else. I have been treated for depression in the past, but the medications hid who I truly was. I can’t make progress in life and setting goals make success seem too far away.

Brief Answer:
Cognitive behavior therapy can be of use for you

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
From the available description it appears that there are some issues with attention resulting in requirement of extra effort to do normal activities. In addition it seems that you have used your coping skills to full extent and generally find it difficult to manage things at ease. In addition over the years you developed a form of despair due to ongoing difficulties in life and inability to sustain a activity for desired time.

Considering all the facts I feel cognitive behavior therapy can be of use as it can target most of the symptoms experienced by you. You are requested to see a clinical psychologist in your city.

I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
