Brief Answer:
A boil may need to be cut open and drained

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
or a boil, often these need to be cut open and drained to allow the pus to come out and stop the infection. This is sometimes followed with a course of antibiotics. Alternatively, if the boil is small, you could try applying a heating pad to the area, maybe 15 minutes 2-3 times a day, to help it drain on its own. You can also try applying an antibiotic ointment.

If you can send a picture of the boil, that may help me advise you on which option would be best. Otherwise, if you can tell me about how big it is, how long you have had it, and if it has been draining already, that can help as well. Also, have you been having any fevers?

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions about that, and I would be glad to discuss it with you further.
