How Get Rid Of Small Lump Under The Skin On My Thigh?
Question: Hi, doctor. I have had a small lump under the skin on my thigh for a few years now that did not hurt but since I am almost covered in varicose veins on both legs, went to see the doctor. He removed the lump (procedure was painful), not sure how he did it but it was not laser and kept giving me novacaine during the procedure. My chief complaint in going there was for having aching legs and a heaviness type feeling in both legs. My question is this - I hope I did not add to the symptoms by having him remove this lump and wanted to get your opinion.

No, no reports of the lump. It wasn't a raised varicose vein (although I have varicose veins up and down both legs - but discolored spider veins, not raised off skin. And both legs for some time now have been aching, tingling and feel heavy. At consult a few months ago, ultrasound was done on both legs and left seemed ok but the right one (with the lump) showed that there was insufficient blood flow. Not sure (since it was not hurting) if lump should have been removed like that. Thanks so much, doctor.
