How Harmful Is Drain Cleaner On Hand Skin?
Question: I'm 10.5 weeks pregnant and had drain cleaner get on my hand. I immediately washed my hands, for 15 minutes, as instructed to do by poison control. I'm wondering, could I have harmed my baby?

This is what I would tell a patient of my own - that there is no concern to the fetus. The main concern is to you in that it can be a serious skin and eye irritant. Obviously if this were ingested it would be a disaster, so keep it up out of the each of children that you may have or who may visit.
