You have bleeding in your rectum so you should go for colonoscopy. It will detect any polyp or carcinoma in your colon and rectum. In colonoscopy rectum and whole colon is examined with long lightened tube called colonoscope.
It is an easy procedure which takes approximately 1 hour. You should take low fiber diet before 4 days. Stop all anti inflammatory medicine before 2 days. You should take dulcolax tablets 24 hours before procedure. Stop eating or drinking anything before 3 hour. Then take all pre procedure precaution according to your doctors advise.
Colonoscopy procedure cost approximately 2000 to 5000 rs accordingly.
