How Is Herpes Transmitted?

Just an update. The bump is not pussy or anything just feels like a small bump. It is actually right in the crease where my thigh meets my butt. As I said I was sweating a lot today and didn't notice it until mid day after I had been sweating. Thanks for your help
Fungal infection not herpes.

Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering.
Herpes can be transmitted by skin to skin contact or by kiss .Usually The incubation period range is 2days to 2 weeks. As 25 days have passed it is unlikely for herpes to erupt now.
If active lesions were present in the partner then the chances of transmission is high.If no lesion then less chance. So unlikely you will get herpes.
The lesions described appears to be due to fungal infection and not herpes
Keep the area moisture free. Wear loose clothes.
Apply topical fungicidal like terbinafine twice daily.
Once subsides use antifungal dusting powders like candid or absorb daily to prevent recurrence.
You can allay fears of herpes for now.
You can get back for clarification.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
Whether HSV 1 or 2 should have appeared by now. Both can occur both places(Oral or genital). But should have appeared by now.
Condoms to protect from herpes but there are many areas of direct skin to skin contact which reduces the protection and makes herpes transmission possible.
No my diagnosis remains fungal infection.they do cause such symptoms.you can send clear photos if still you feel herpes.
