Question: How is hydromorphone stored in the body? I was given Dilaudid while in the hospital in December 2013 and it showed up in a urine test in April 2014

- Hydromorphone is opiate preparation. It can be detected in the urine for two to three days and in hair up to 3 to 6 months.

- In urine detection of hydrocodone after long period can only be possible if you had taken another pill.
