How Is Rabies Transmitted?

Question: My dog spit up some of her food and I took a wet paper towel to clean it up then later I put my finger in my nose without cleaning my hands. I didnt touch the spit up I used the wet towel but after I picked my nose I smelled a little of the spit up on my fingers. Could it be harmful if I got a slight bit of the spit up in my nose?

I understand your concern.
See, rabies transmission doesn't occur via this route. So you are safe. Only thing is that if your dog in case is carrying any virus ,for example cold virus , you can trap that.
At present I would advise you nothing to do and nothing to worry for.
Just wait and watch. If you develop any symptom like cold , cough, jaundice write to us again.
