How Is Sexually Transmitted Disease Transmitted?
Question: Can you get a sexually transmitted disease from oral sex without condom?
Brief Answer:
Of course you can
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
of course you can contract sexually transmitted diseases (STD) from unprotected oral sex. Almost any STD is possible. HIV is less likely though because oral sex is not as dangerous as vaginal or anal sex. The receiving part is even less likely to contract HIV. Increased risk applies when ulcers and other lesions are present.
The most dangerous situation regarding HIV infection include blood to blood contact and mucosal contact between the penis (the area under the foreskin in particular) and the vagina or rectum.
I hope I've helped!
