Question: What percentage of tumor cells from a biopsy are needed to accuratly assess KRAS mutation in colon cancer?

Hi
Thanks for your query.

At least 10% of tumor cells in the biopsy is required. And two biopsy cores of 1 cm each with more than 10% tumor cells should be enough to generate DNA to do the test.
