How Is Urinary Infection In A Child Running A High Fever Treated?
Question: My baby is 1 year 2months old recently she got Urine infection which showspus cell 75-85/HPFand epithelial cells 2-3/hpf and she was having high fever 104. Doc gave her antibiotics.
My question is what are the causes of this infection.
Does this infection spread by touching.

I have gone through the details and the reports. Urine infection is common, especially in female children. Infection is mainly from the stools and urine itself. If she is wearing diapers that can also cause infection or else if she is not using any diapers the way the stools is cleaned can also cause infection. Always wipe from front to back. Never from back to front.
