Hi doctor R.K
I was diagnosed with intestinal tb and my doctor did ct scan, colonoscopy before coming to a conclusion it is tb.
Before my treatment i got 101.5 fever only once after that 2 days diarrhea followed by no appetite and weight loss.
Now i am recovering but i don't know why i am unable to gain weight,i will upload my reports evening.
Is this curable or any serious issue it will make?

Answer given below
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for uploading the biopsy and PCR report.
From the report it looks more likely to be TB than Crohn's disease.
As mentioned earlier, you may to take medications for TB for 12 months.
You have had fever, diarrhea, loss of appetite and loss of weight.
After taking the medications., positive response would be in the form of no fever, no diarrhea, improvement in the appetite and weight gain. The ESR is well within the normal limits only.
Take high calorie diet. Taking egg daily is good. Include more of dhal. Take vitamin supplements and include fruits and vegetables in your diet.
As said earlier it may take 12 months of treatment for complete cure. You can get a colonoscopy done again after 12 months to see whether the lesions have healed.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr.R.K
