Question: hello sir 2days before my doctor accidently gave me nandrolene deconate without knowing that its a banned substance... he has given me 25mg of nandrolene deconate( IM) .. I AM ATHLETE... SO I WANTED TO KNOW THAT 25mg of ND will test positive in the dope test.. where as WADA has prescribed a limit of 2.0ug

Brief answer...given below Detailed answer... Hello, Thanks for the query. Different types of steroids take different time to clear from the system . Elimination of nandrolone metabolizes are generally dose dependent and individual based ,but a single dose of 25 mg of NANDROLONE DECONATE can be detected in the dope test even after one year and may be even 18 months. WADA has set a limit of 2 nanogrammes per ml in the urine for detection. Modern labs can detect even the level of upto .2ng per ml in the urine.
