How Long After Taking Unwanted Kit Will Bleeding Resume?
Question: My last period date was 5th February. After having sex, till today, i.e, till 8th March no period having. At home kit, result is positive. On 8th march at 8 pm i took first tablet of unwanted kit. Still i have no period. Please help me

1) You must undergo medical termination of pregnancy under supervision of local doctor or gynecologist and it will be helpful in emergency situation also.
Upon taking FIRST tablet of Unwanted Kit (Mifepristone), abdominal cramp and vaginal bleeding will start anytime between 24 to 72 hrs.
2) If vaginal bleeding DOESN'T start within this time, I can suggest to take 2 Misoprostol tablets orally to start the abortion process. Repeat dose may be required after 24 hrs.
Within 72 hrs, most women will start to miscarry (flesh mass or product of conception will be expelled out) and light bleeding may continue till next 7 days.
3) Pelvic ultrasound scan may be required additionally after 1 week of abortion completed. Around 5% women may need D & C or suction (surgical method) to evacuate the uterine cavity in the failure of medical abortion. Repeat dose of medicine may be given to complete abortion process before undergoing D & C.
