How Long Can Genital Herpes Lay Dormant?
Question: I haven't had any symptoms of genital herpes in over 6 years.....since my divorce. I have not had sex during that time and now I have a flare up. What causes it? It is painful. I no longer go to a Gyn. I had a total hysterectomy. My GP prescribed Lotrisone,that did not work. Now she has me using neosporin. Is there something else I should ask her to prescribe?

You should also take high dose B complex and a good pain/anti inflammatory agent like Ibuprofen/Motrin till pain subsides.
