Question: How long can left over sperm/semen that didn't come out via ejaculation live in the male urethra without urination?

You are asking how long can sperm live in the urethra after ejaculation. No matter where the sperm live in the urethra, vagina or uterus the lifespan of a sperm is 7 days. So if you urinate after ejaculation you clear out the urethra and there is no more sperm in the urethra.

Yes. I thought it was up to 7 days in the female reproductive tract. And vagina up to a few hours if it doesn't make it into the cervix. Sorry I have an exam tomorrow and I cant find lifespan of sperm in male urethra anywhere. I do know about 2% is left after ejaculation
2 percent of semen which contains sperm obviously. The answer I found was 2-10 hours in male urethra before it dies I just dont know if thats accurate.
