thanks for the query.
Firstly if the hematoma is already a week old then it must have organised now and would start resoluting. Ideally cold compresses are preferred initially at the time of injury but thereafter as of now hot fomentation thrice a day fir 15min should be practiced locally and NSAIDS should be used for pain relief + tab vitamin C thrice a day for 7 days for early healing.
