Brief Answer:
It can take from 1-3 months for the liver enzymes to go back down.
Detailed Answer:
Liver enzymes will go down but it can take more than 1 month and depends on a person's own rate of liver regeneration.
Yes, I think this is probably still a temporarily angry fatty liver.
The question is, how will you prevent a relapse? Because that is a more important factor for your long term liver-health. I think you might benefit from a program or group to help you or this could be a repeating process. My guess is those 5 days you went off the wagon could crop up again under times of duress or temptation unless there is a rock solid plan and support.

I agree that is something i really need to think about it. For the most part ive always been a funtional drinker which is probably not good.
I hope youre right. Im pretty concerned at this point. After 1 day of losing appetite i wasnt concerned, now going on 4 days and only a half of a bananna all day today. Can fatty liver cause this?? And to go on this long?? If it is the worst casr there are potential options, yes?

Plan:
Detailed Answer:
If you aren't starting to feel better tomorrow, then let's plan for you to call your doctor. If your doctor can't get you in soon, then you should go to an urgent care clinic. There a doctor can feel over your live and get a CBC and liver enzymes and you will have a better idea of what is going on.
It could all be from alcohol, but if it were the cause of all your symptoms, I would expect that you would also have vomiting and jaundice. I am not saying the alcohol isn't playing a significant part here, but your symptoms may also be partly a stomach virus since you had diarrhea at one part too.
So call tomorrow and see where you can get in to be seen and then you will have more specific information for us to go on.
Do try to maintain your hydration with water and soup broths, juice, or you will feel sicker from dehydration and hypoglycemia too. Please let me know how you are doing after you are seen. Good luck and I hope you are feeling better tomorrow.

Pretty good!
Detailed Answer:
Well I'm sure that is a relief for you! Me too!
Now you have a task ahead, even if you were mostly a functional drinker, and that is to have a plan for when you would really like to have a drink.
I think you will start to feel better in the next several days.
Best regards and have a good night,
