How Long Does Klonopin Take To Reach A Steady State?
I take Klonopin 4 mg. I received the last increase a week ago (0,5 mg).
I received here in HCM this information about the time it takes to Klonopin to reach steady state (2-3 weeks). It's important because without this steady state i feel sitill some downsides.

Other informations talk about just 5-7 days, i received also this information in HCM. I would like to know if it can depend on rythm of individual assimilation.
Thanks, XXXXXXX
In most individuals steady state concentration is reached in about 5-7 days
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. I have gone through the details of pharmacokinetics of Clonazepam and what I have found that increasing the dose of Clonazepam results in increase in serum concentration of Clonazepam in blood. In most individuals therapeutic range is 10-80 ng/ml. Based upon various studies each added one mg of Clonazepam daily and regularly results in increase in serum concentration by about 10-12 ng/ml in blood. You have increased the dose just a week ago and as per my opinion these dose would result in increase in concentration in blood and will increase the therapeutic efficacy.
As half life of Clonazepam is short so if we consider a steady state plasma concentration then its usually achieved in about 5-7 days. But increasing the dose would further increase it. So yes you can depend upon rhythm of individual assimilation.
Thanks. Hope this helps you. Please don't hesitate to ask a clarification because I have used some technical terms in my answer.
Take care
