7-14 days

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

Although vicodin gets eliminated from systemic circulation in 24 hours but the withdrawal effect can take upto two weeks. The initial two to four days are quite troublesome but over the period of time the withdrawal effect subside in gradual manner.

Most patients I see in my clinical practice experience some withdrawal effects upto two weeks and after that there are only mild symptoms if any.

Regarding dangerous I do not think it is dangerous. It does not cause any serious complications and risk to life is almost nil.

I hope this answers you.
Thanks and regards.
