How Long Does A Toroidal Injection Stay In The System?
Information
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
If I understand correctly you had an injection of Toradol (ketorolac) to treat pain of some kind and now you have abdominal bloating following this injection?
Ketorolac is in the NSAID family, like ibuprofen and naproxen. All of these can cause stomach irritation (and even ulceration) and that might be the cause of your bloating. If you are having stomach problems following a one time dose of Toradol, you might want to consider taking Zantac (ranitidine) 150 mg twice a day for 1-2 weeks to heal any problem the Toradol may have caused there.
Just a caution, since I don't have the advantage of being able to examine you: If you are having black tarry stools or blood in the stools or throw up what looks like coffee grounds, then do go in to the ER to be seen for possible GI bleeding.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
