How Long Does It Take For Spiriva To Get Out Of System?
withdrawal symptoms are rare
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com
This is Dr. Swarnava dattagupta answering your query.
I understand your concern.
Spiriva is tiotropium bromide and it is a bronchodilator used mostly in prophylaxis or chronic control of asthma. It is taken via inhalational route, hence local side effects are pore pronounced rather than systemic. You have probably experienced local side effects like dry mouth, breathing problems, sore throat, cough etc.
It generally takes time to act and the action remains for 6-8 hours. Being an inhalational drug, systemic side effects are less and withdrawal symptoms are rare.
Hence if you have stopped it already 2 days ago, it has probably got out of your system. And withdrawal is unlikely.
Hope i have answered your question.
If you have any further questions i will be happy to help.
Regards

Hello.
Sorry for the late reply.
Well it is uncertain. Normally it should be alright by 2-3 days maximum. But side effects and their duration varies in individuals. You can take anti-GERD medicine like pantoprazole, esomeprazole or ilaprazole to accentuate your recovery.
Stuffy nose will be better on its own.
Regards.
