How Long Does It Take For Tooth Extraction Socket To Heal?
Question: My mother had an tooth extraction when her sugar level 296 .but it is now 197 and she is taking regularly diabetes medicine.I just need to know how long it will take to heal it.it had already taken a week.

As far as the extraction socket healing is concerned, it takes 7-10 days for the socket to heal under normal conditions. Since you are diabetic, it takes around 15 days to heal. Nothing to be panic, you can continue the anti diabetic drugs and maintain oral hygiene by rinsing your mouth soon after eating anything. You can use mouth wash.

I have consulted with a doctor he had examine my mother.he told that some infection has taken place in that.He had pescribed some medicine.And now the problem is that she is feeling a inching in that area.and the infected area is still swollen.
