How Long Does It Take To Get Pregnant Post Depo Withdrawal?
Average time to get pregnant is 10 months from the last shot.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
Although the Depo shot needs to be repeated 12-16 weeks, when it is stopped usually it does not lose its effect in that time period. The effect can last longer because the microcrystals of depot injection sometimes dissolve very slowly.
Although pregnancy can occur as early as three and half months after the last shot, the average time for ovulation to start is about five and half months. But the time for becoming pregnant takes a little longer, the average being about 10 months from the last shot. For some women it may take up to 18 months.
I hope I have answered your concerns. If you have any further queries, do contact me through Healthcare Magic
Ovulation can occur within 12 weeks of last shot due to method failure
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back.
If you have done the test correctly, then you are ovulating.
What I have written above happens most of the times.
I would like to bring to your notice that Depo shot is 99% effective. There is 1% possibility that the method can fail. You took your last shot last month. You have started ovulating within 8 weeks of last shot. This is considered as method failure.
Anyway this is good news in your case. Good luck. I hope you conceive in this month
If you have any further concerns do write to me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for having trust in Healthcare Magic

It is DEFINITELY safe to take bath in warm water.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
It is definitely safe to take bath with warm water. Just relax. Don't worry at all.
It is safe to take bath the following morning too.
Take one tablet of Folic acid daily. This vitamin reduces the risk of occurrence of brain and spine abnormalities in the fetus.
To increase your chances of conception maintain normal BMI, quit smoking ( if you're a smoker) and have intercourse at least three times in a week.
I hope this helps.
Good luck

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
From your notes, it seems that you are experiencing the breast pain for the first time. Since when are you noticing it? Does it occur before mensus?
Though pregnancy and birth control pills can cause soreness in the breasts, there are several other reasons for it. Here I am mentioning just few common causes.
1.Before mensus--It can occur just before mensus due to hormonal changes in the body. This pain typically starts before the period and vanishes as the bleeding stops.
2.Emotional stress- Sometimes emotional stress can cause breast pain by altering the hormone levels.
3.Heavy work out-If you are doing heavy pushups in the gym it may hurt the pectoral muscles which are behind the breasts and this may appear as breast soreness
4.Lifting heavy objects- If you have lifted heavy furniture/bags etc, it can strain the pectoral muscles and this appears as breast soreness.
I hope I have answered your concerns. If you have any further queries, do contact me through Healthcare Magic.
Take tablet Ibuprofen (Brufen) 400mg twice daily after food.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
One possibility is that you might be starting periods shortly. The hormonal changes with ovulation must have caused the pain.
There might have been some sort of trauma directly to breast or to pectoral muscles which you did not recognize.
Take Tablet Ibuprofen (Brufen) 400mg twice daily after food. Cut down on coffee and drinks ( if you are drinking alcohol). This is known to reduce the pain. You should feel good in 2-3 day’s time. Take Vitamin E capsules once daily. Omega 3 fatty acids in it are very helpful in reducing the pain.
Are you a sports woman? If you don't use correct size bra during running etc, it can cause pain.
I hope this helps.
I will be happy to answer If you have any further queries.
I did not understand your question.
