How Long Does It Take To Recover From The Side Effects Of Sertraline?

Question: How'd long do the side effects of sertraline take to wear off. My 95 year old mother took it for 11 days - she had several falls which was unusual, felt nauseous, stomach ache, very tired, loss of appetite and has drunk very little (she is normally an avid tea drinker). Her GP has said to stop taking it and she has had two free days but her symptoms persist with no sign of decreasing.

Brief Answer:
Usually ok after 3-4 days
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
this should wear off after 2-3/4 days, if this takes longer then your gp might want to check her blood and blood pressure to see if there is any unnormality in elektrolytes (potassium, sodium) or blood pressure.
Best regards
