Hair loss is not too common after amlodipine use but may occur in some patients. It is totally reversible although hair growth might take 2-3 months or more following discontinuation of the medication. Till this time however, you can apply Minoxidil lotion over the affected regions of your scalp which would expedite hair growth. Please note that lack of iron and vitamins can also cause hair loss so these should be taken adequately.
