How Long Does Nausea And Dizziness Caused By Celexa Take To Subside?

May be Overdose.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
I have gone through your query. You said that you are taking Celexa (Citalopram) 20 mg for last 15 years and now you have increased it by 10 mg twice a day. Nausea and dizziness you are experiencing now may be symptoms of overdosing. I will suggest you to go for blood or plasma level of Citalopram. It should be in the range of 50-400 μg/L.
If the level exceeds, you have to taper down your dose and if it is within limit, I suggest you to take increased dose at night only. Continue taking 20 mg at morning.
Directly coming to your answer. (If everything is fine) Your body may get used to it in a week to four weeks time, as i have seen in my patients.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
