How Long Does Stomach Bloating Last Post Miscarriage?
Question: I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks one week ago. How long will my belly feel bloated and hard?
Brief Answer:
1-2 weeks.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The feeling of being bloated and hard can persist for 1-2 weeks after an abortion. This will gradually decrease as the uterus returns to its normal size. By then the bleeding will also gradually reduce.
In case there are uterine cramps in the lower abdomen then you can get uterine muscle relaxant like drotaverine prescribed from your gynecologist.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
