Question: Hello. My Nexplanon recently expired October 1st. I am scheduled to have a new one implanted at the end of this month. I recently had unprotected sex. My question was is the effectiveness of the implant and is it likely that i could get pregnant?

The implant expired October 1st. My new implant will be implanted at the end of November.

It is not advised to go two months without as you are not protected. Without any implant present, the effectiveness against pregnancy is really minimal and difficult to tell. Be observant and should you notice any changes in your regular cycles, especially a missed period, do a pregnancy test. In the meantime, I will suggest that you always use a protection such as condoms.
