Question: How long does it take to get back to work after torn minicus tear surgery and could you give me a rough estimate of the cost of surgery. I have no insurance. Thanks

I have studied your case. Menisectomy is day care surgery and patient is discharged same or next day.Usually patient goes home walking. If you are in a office job, you can join your work in two to three days. Squatting, stairs is not possible for ten to fifteen days.
As far as charges is concern it is not very costly surgery.it is difficult to tell exact amount as it is dependent on various factor like hospital, doctor and patient. In US mostly it will cost between 700 to 2000 dollars. In my centre in XXXXXXX we do it in 500 dollars.
