Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this pancreatitis and all the inconveniences this has caused you. I hope you really get healed of this soon.

Pancreatitis may take a up to a month for you to fully recover if the cause is identified and addressed. It would be very difficult to tell exactly how much time would be adequate for full recovery. I recommend you follow up with your treatment as prescribed and this would for sure be the best way to guarantee early recovery.

For now, keeping away fro fatty meals would be very helpful as you would get pains after every fatty meal. However, after recovery, you would be able to eat whatever you want with little fear. The goal is not to help you gain weight right now, it is to guarantee healing and permit you carry on with a normal life. The goal of putting on more weight should be postponed after full recovery.

In all, I recommend that you stick to the prescribed treatment. The goal now is not to eat and put on weight but to guarantee healing. Weight gain would be considered after full recovery.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
